Our mission is to create a fun, safe and inclusive community oriented space for people to learn and practice pole dancing.

Our Story

Welcome to Poling Around Studio, a community created by ten passionate people united by their love for pole dancing. We share a diverse range of pole experiences: some just starting their pole journeys to others who have pole danced for several years. By opening Poling Around Studio, we hope to share our love of pole dance with others who can find strength, self-expression, empowerment and a supportive community.

Community Values

  • Community

We practice our art and movement together, with a growth mindset founded in respect for one another and the belief that we can go farther, together, than we ever could alone.

  • Inclusivity

We celebrate the joy of pole dance as an inclusive community, where diverse backgrounds, beliefs and experiences unite in the shared exploration of movement and self-discovery.

  • Body Neutrality

We embrace body neutrality, valuing every individual's unique journey and fostering an environment where self-acceptance and confidence are celebrated.

  • Sex Work Positivity

We believe that sex work is real work. We celebrate and honor pole dancing in all forms, including stripping. We cultivate an atmosphere of sex work positivity in our physical spaces.

  • Progression

By working with where our bodies are at right now, we build the foundations that allow us to train safely, efficiently, and thoughtfully.

  • Play

Engaging in a curious exploration of movement, we take pleasure in the shared joy that arises from our mutual love for pole dancing and the expressive arts.
